OC county Fair

We all set out for a new experience this weekend, The OC Fair. Micah and I have done the San Diego County and of course LA County but never the OC. It was by far our favorite yet. Elsie loved it too. There was just so much for her to look at and all the roasted corn her little heart desired. All I was craving and all I wanted was roasted corn. I bought three different ones and had to break it in half every time for Elsie to have her own. She loved it! She didn't want anything to do with the soft serve ice cream or other treats we tried to give her, just the corn.

We did our first family photo booth and that was hilarious. Elsie just kept waiting for something to happen, she looks so confused in all the frames even the last one when I said go crazy. She loved the animal in all three different petting zoos. Micah couldn't get over the fact that there was a kangaroo in one and a deer in another. We were there for most of the day and all of us were so pooped by the time we got home. Definitely a successful fair trip.

Elsie absolutely loves her new playhouse. We weren't even finished building it and she kept trying to use it. I think I may love it even more than her considering I can lay outside and rest while she gets to play. Perfect considering I've still been out for commission with this morning sickness. Thank you so much for this wonderful gift Jammie and Papa. We love you very much.

where to start

Ok so there has been some exciting things happening around our neck of the woods. Let's see, Oh Elsie had her first popsicle from the ice cream man, she is starting to put sentences together, Nat & Mike got Married (that was a big one, should get its own post) oh and ya of course, WE'RE PREGNANT! Well, I'm pregnant and Micah is at fault.

We are so excited! We were able to see the baby on Monday and it is incredibly small. Smaller than Elsie was when we first saw her.It didn't even have legs yet so I am thinking we are a week off on the calendar or so. They gave us an Estimated due date of March 17th, but I think it will be a week later or more. Micah is so excited at the possibility of having a St.Patty's baby, he is beside himself.

I have had really bad morning sickness these past few weeks. I would call it ALL day sickness though. I had a couple good days of no vomiting and I thought I had kicked it but started back up yesterday with frequent visits to the toilet. I am doing much better than last week though, I couldn't even get off the couch it was so bad. Now I can at least get up and try tp get ready for the day. Hopefully this will pass...soon.
